Brown and grey house
Bozelos Panagiotis - Civil engineer - Architect
Brown and grey house
This project is a 2 floor house. This house can be built on almost all kinds of sites. The architects hope was to achieve a building with architectural presence that creates a comfortable living within, with a nice external aesthetic appearance.
The house is a small building with 3 different colors.
The volume is simple, giving a satisfying view.
The whole house can be stretched to the left and right, changing the inner areas and the volume.
The whole house can be stretched in front and back, changing the inner areas and the volume.
The colors can change inside the defined areas according to color theory to another combination.
The structural system can be of concrete, simple and effective even for high danger areas.
The entrance is within a pattern of grey color, maybe with a material like grey stone, and a circular window is above the door. Beside the entrance doors there are big windows or glass areas, extending from ground floor to first floor.
At the left and right of the building there are windows in ground and first floor.
These windows can change and become as in front view, extending from ground floor to first floor.
At the back of the building there is no need for windows/doors, but can be added if the owner/architect wants.
The light enters the house easy through doors and windows.
The walls, left and right, should be of the same color.
There can be added balconies at the left and right of the building, if the owner/architect wants.
The house should be ideally rotated and manipulated according to the site orientation.
In the original sketch there are the ground and first floor plans.
The land around the house can be something concrete, like a yard with all the requirements of the architect / owner.
The house can be on the beach or forest, with different yard and materials according to specific requirements.
The yard or the land around the house functions complementary to the house, enhancing the well living and pleasure of the owners.
The functionality of the house is simple and effective.
The spaces are organized in a way that gives the capacity to function right and to transform.
The ground floor consists of a living room connected with dining, kitchen, bedroom/guestroom, and a bath.
The living room has direct connection to the dining, kitchen and the other areas.
In the living room can be added a fireplace and a style/decoration according to owner wish.
The light enters free the living room, dining and kitchen.
The dining/kitchen style should match the living room style/decoration.
The stairs are wide, and can add to the style of the house.
According to the owner/architect wish the stairs can become less wide, changing the living area.
The kitchen and dining can change place.
The bedroom/guestroom should or not have a door communicating with the area around the house. Or maybe a window, leaving the light to enter.
Generally the guest and bath area can be controlled and manipulated.
They can easily switch place between them.
The bedroom can be converted to guestroom/den/service room.
Another solution is just the bath, and an open den.
The first floor consists of three bedrooms, a bath, a second living room and a den.
The two bedrooms can have light through windows as in original sketch, or
they can have access to an optional balcony and get plenty of light through the doors.
The width of the optional balcony can be changed according to the site and light requirements.
The living and den areas can change. A possibility is the removal of the den and make the living larger, maybe something like a living and a playroom, or maybe other manipulation of the area according to owner/architect wish.
The yard can become whatever the owner wants, with a pool somewhere in the yard. The yard can have a garage, maybe at the left, right or behind the house and with a door leading directly to the house. It depends upon the site.
Or the garage can be independent, or depending in the general area of where the house is in relation with the site and roads around, there cannot be at all.
The site can have one or more roads around it.
The site can be inside a structured area of the city, or somewhere isolated.
Or maybe the site can be outside the city structure, so the house can stand alone, defining something unique.
The concrete structural system is clear, and there is no need to mention more about it.
Final blueprints can be made easily with autocad or archicad, or other software.
Render can be made easy with appropriate software.
It is a simple, but effective and concrete design of a 2 floor house, that can change relatively easy, to satisfy the owner needs.

A colorful house
Bozelos Panagiotis - Civil engineer - Architect
A simple 2 floor house
This project is a 2 floor house. This house can be built on almost all kinds of sites. The architects hope was to achieve a building with architectural presence that creates a comfortable living within, with a nice external aesthetic appearance.
The house is a small building with 5 different colors.
The colors can be changed and manipulated according to areas defined by lines, defining a more playful house.
The lines defining the structural system can become different, defining a something more complex or not. So the final result with colorful play can become something different, almost becoming art.
The colors can change according to color theory to another combination.
Or the colors can be more abstract.
Or the structural system can be of concrete, leaving options for more abstract play with colors, maybe even with a drawing-painting in it, maybe on a basis of a solid material.
Or even a large abstract painting, reflecting on the yard or in a pool.
The entrance is within a pattern of colors, and a large glass area above a certain height, defined by the height of first floor.
The pattern defined in the sketch side view can be the same as in the front view, changing the building external view.
Maybe little void in bricks in the side view(in the case of solid material), can let the light enter.
The volume is simple, giving a satisfying view.
The whole house can be stretched to the left and right, changing the inner areas and the volume.
The whole house can be stretched in front and back, changing the inner areas and the volume.
The whole volume can be from a clear cube to a rectangle, and without the balcony.
The balcony can be removed for more clear volume.
The balcony just satisfies needs of the internal organization of the spaces, adding to the well being and pleasure of the owners.
The walls, left and right, can be of the same color and the same pattern.
In the case the balcony exists, the solution is clear.
The walls on left and right view should be different depended upon the functionality of the inner areas of the house, and in a way that the view is giving a satisfying final result.
The front and back view of the building can be the same.
Depending upon transformation, the can be added little glass voids, visible or hidden, in order the light to enter from these views.
The light pattern entering the house can be controlled in order to give a satisfying result, according to site and orientation of the building.
In the original sketch there are the ground and 1rst floor.
The land around the house can be something concrete, like a yard with all the requirements of the architect / owner, or something different.
The house can be something unique, like an isolated house in another area of the city, or even a house in the beach or forest with the appropriate materials.
The house should be ideally rotated and manipulated according to the site orientation.
The yard or the land around the house functions complementary to the house, enhancing the well living and pleasure of the owners.
The functionality of the house is simple and effective.
The spaces are organized in a way that gives the capacity to the areas to function right and to transform.
The ground floor consists of a living room connected with dining, kitchen, bedroom/guestroom, and a bath.
The living room has direct connection to the dining, kitchen and the other areas.
There is a nice visual communication between the living and the first floor, because of the void in the first floor slab.
The entrance doors is normal, and above a certain height there is a large glass letting the light inside the living room.
The light enters freely the living room, dining and kitchen.
The bedroom/guestroom should or not have a door communicating with the area around the house. Or maybe windows, leaving the light to enter.
In the living room can be added a fireplace and a style/decoration according to owner wish.
The stairs should add to the aesthetics of living room, and can create a nice space under it, used in various ways.
The dining/kitchen style should match the living room style/decoration.
The kitchen and dining can change place.
Generally the guest and bath areas can be controlled and manipulated.
They can easily switch place between them.
The bedroom can be converted to guestroom/den/service room.
Another solution is just a bath, and an open den. Or a movement of dining and kitchen to the back, extension of the living room, or a little cinema, transforming completely the space of the ground floor.
The first floor consists of two bedrooms and a bath.
The area of the bedrooms is organized in such a way, that can change giving the architect/owner the right to manipulate the spaces easily.
The two bedrooms have access to the balcony and get plenty of light through the doors.
The width of the balcony ca change according to the site and light requirements.
The slab above the balcony should have the appropriate length to let the light enter.
One bedroom can be converted to a den. Or in another case of design, there can be only a bath over the bath of first floor, and the open space can change to bedroom and a den, open or closed. Or maybe the space can be converted completely to a gallery.
The yard can become whatever the owner wants, with a pool somewhere in the yard. The yard can have a garage, maybe at the left or behind the house and with a door leading directly to the house. It depends upon the site.
Or the garage can be independent, or depending on the general area of where the house is in relation with the site and roads around, there cannot exist at all.
The site can have one or more roads around it.
The site can be inside a structured area of the city, or somewhere isolated.
The house can stand alone, defining something unique.
The structural system can be of a steel truss with a combination with concrete columns and slab.
The steel truss can have a strong color, like black or dark grey, so the colors between the steel truss play.
In the other axis, the structural system can be of concrete, the usual used in such type of buildings. Or it could be of steel, depending on the site and the area where the house will be built.
Final blueprints can be made easily with autocad or archicad, or other software.
And render can be made easy with appropriate software.
It is a simple, defined and not, somewhat concrete and a little abstract approach to a specific two floor house, that can change relatively easy, to satisfy the owner needs.

2 floor house
Bozelos Panagiotis - Civil engineer - Architect
A simple 2 floor house
The house is a small building with 3 different colors.
The color can be changed and manipulated according to areas defined by lines, defining a more playful house.
The colors can change according to color theory to another combination.
Or the colors can be more abstract, reaching a state of art.
The entrance is with a pattern of solid color. The volume is simple, giving a satisfying view.
The whole house can be stretched to the left and right, changing the inner areas and the volume.
The whole house can be stretched in front and back, changing the inner areas and the volume.
The walls, left and right, can be of the same color.
The slab above the balconies, can be changed, rotated defining another view, and maybe according the sun that should enter the house.
The entrance of light can be done from left and right, by doors or large glass areas.
The colorful back and front areas of the house can be constructed with panels.
The can be added in the slab in the middle of the building a entrance of light, with a void from the top of the building passing through a void in the first floor and leading to ground floor.
The balcony in the back of the first floor can exist or not, changing the house.
Or in the back of the house, can be added a large glass area, defined by the balcony and covering both ground and first floor.
Around the house should be a yard, smaller or larger according to the the site.
Or not at all, leaving the house in the middle of the house alone.
The house should be ideally rotated and manipulated according to the site orientation.
The functionality of the house is simple and effective.
The spaces are organized in a way that gives the capacity to function right and to transform.
The entrance doors is normal, and there should be glass area or the door can be large and continuous covering the full left view, achieving a nice view of the the yard and letting the light to enter. In the living room can be added a fireplace and a style/decoration according to owner wish.
The dining/kitchen style should match the living room style/decoration.
The kitchen and dining can change place.
In the ground floor there are a guestroom and a bath.
The guestroom can be converted to bedroom/den/service room.
Generally the guest and bath are can be controlled and manipulated.
There can be doors in the back of the house, in symmetry and similar to the elevation of the main entrance. Or different covering specific needs.
Around the house there is an yard which can function complementary to the house, enhancing the well living and pleasure of the owners.
The communication to the upper floor is through a stair that can have a style according to the style/decoration of the living area, of the house generally.
The upper floor is functional, with a balconies in left, right and in the back of the house.
The light enter the upper floor easily through the doors and the door/doors of the balcony.
The area of the bedrooms is organized in such a way, that can be changed giving the architect/owner the right to manipulate the spaces easily.
There 3 bedrooms, a den and a bath.
Maybe one bedroom can change and become a bath, and the living area is bigger.
Maybe the living area can be a big playroom.
Another idea is that there can be a void in the slab of the floor, with a nice view to the ground floor. Above the void in the slab, there should be a calculated void in the slab covering the first floor. The light can enter easy through the roof slab into the whole house. In that case the blacony in the back of the house can exist or not, according to architect/owner wished.
Another idea is that if the owner/architect wants a clear volume, the back balcony should be avoided. Also the slab roofs above the balconies in the right and left of the house, can be the same. Or there can be a hypothetical straight line, from straight to a line with an angle, changing the house, leading from from left to right or the opposite.
Or the house can be as just it appears to the image.
The yard can become whatever the owner wants, with a pool somewhere in the yard. The yard can have a garage, maybe behind the bedroom3 are and with a door leading directly to the house. It depends upon the site.
Or the garage can be independent, or depending in the general area of where the house is in relation with the site and roads around, there cannot be at all.
The site can have one or more roads around it.
The site can be inside a structured area of the city, or somewhere isolated.
The house can stand alone, defining something unique.
The structural system should be of concrete, or maybe steel, and with a dark grey/black color in the front and back of the house, making a nice view.
In the other axis, the structural system is the usual used in such type of buildings.
General the dimensions of the house can be strictly defined, as seem in the sketch.
Or more abstract change, with manipulating the whole house.
Final blueprints can be made easily with autocad or archicad, or other software.
And render can be made easy with appropriate software.
It is a simple, defined and not, somewhat concrete and a little abstract approach to a 2 floor house, that can change relatively easy, to satisfy the owner needs.

A simple 2 floor house
This project is a 2 floor house. This house can be built on almost all kinds of sites. The architects hope was to achieve a building with architectural presence that creates a comfortable living within, with a nice external aesthetic appearance.
The house is a small building with 4 different colors.
The entrance is with a pattern of red/brown bricks. The volumes are simple, giving a satisfying view. The colors can change according to color theory to another combination.
The whole house can be stretched to the left and right,in order of the whole house to change completely, defining a new building.
The first front of the house can be curved, giving another volume composition.
The walls, front and back, can be curved less or more, in order of the whole house to change completely, defining a new building.
Around the house should be a yard, smaller or larger according to the the site.
The house should be ideally rotated and manipulated according to the site orientation.
The functionality of the house is simple and effective.
The spaces are organized in a way that gives the capacity to function right and to transform.
The entrance doors are large, achieving a nice view of the the yard and the light enters easily. In the living room can be added a fireplace and a style/decoration according to owner wish.
In the ground floor there are a guestroom and a bedroom.
These rooms can change to den/library, den/guestroom, bedroom/bedroom, den/bedroom, maid/service rooms.
In front of the house there is an open yard which, which can function some hours of the day as complementary to the house, enchancing the well living and pleasure of the owners.Behind the living room there is a little covered space, functioning with the living area/guest room, which communicates with the open yard.
The dining/kitchen style should match the living room style/decoration.
The communication to the upper floor is through a stair that can have a style according to the style/decoration of the living area. Around the stair should be a closed space, with a bath under the stairs. The abstraction give the possibility of larger/smaller definition of this closed space.
In the ground floor the light easily enter the living room, and windows/doors can be added to guest/bedroom leading directly to the yard.
The upper floor is functional, with a balcony in front of the bedroom spaces.
The light enter the upper floor easily.
The area of the bedrooms is organized in such a way, that can be changed, even to a second living room / gallery / den / library / bath, giving the architect/owner the right to manipulate the spaces easily. The den can be easily converted to a bedroom.
The yard can become whatever the owner wants, with a pool in front or in the back of the house. The yard should have a garage, communicating directly or not with the house.
For example, in the closed space with the stairs can be added a garage door, leading to a garage, behind the house. The space above of the the garage can be an added space, covered or not, adding to the pleasure of the owner.
The garage location can change according to the roads around the site.
The site can have one or more roads around it.
A big site should have a nice yard with trees, a smaller a little yard with trees.
The structural system should be of concrete, with little cost, and fully earthquake resistant.
The dimension can be strictly defined, as seem in the sketch.
Or more abstract change, with manipulating the whole house.
Final blueprints can be made easily with autocad or archicad, or other software.
And render can be made easy with appropriate software.
It is a smart, defined and not, somewhat abstract approach to a 2 floor house that can change easily, to satisfy the owner needs.
